There are no fees to use this site.

Simply click on the ‘Register’ link at the top right of the page

Provide basic details and click to register

You will receive an email asking you to confirm receipt

When you have done that, your details will be validated against the database of residents maintained by Grand Haven and your registration will be approved

You can then access all the facilities of the site

Yes. If you go to the Members page under Member Options, click on “Search members’. You can then enter your search criteria.

If you are looking for someone by name, enter all or part of their name. Entering ‘Phil’ will find anyone called Phil or Philip or with a last name of Phillips.

You can enter multiple search preferences. For example, “cards” under “Interests in which you are interested in meeting others’ and ‘male’ as a gender and Front Street as a Village to find men who want to meet others to play cards in Front Street village. It will also identify someone who shares an interest in collecting sport cards!

You are free to speak your mind..! Posts are not routinely censored.

BUT, you are expected to be respectful and not post anything that is abusive or is likely to unreasonably offend someone.

Complaints are ok as long as they are constructive.

If a post is regarded as offensive, it may be disabled pending a decision by a moderating panel of residents and will then be either restored or deleted.

This site will always be regarded as a work in progress designed to serve the residents of Grand Haven.

No. It is totally independent of both.

It is designed and managed by residents for residents.

GHMA Board Members and CDD SUpervisors are also residents so can join and express personal opinions. They can also speak on behalf of the GHMA or CDD if authorized to do so.

But neither the GHMA nor the CDD controls or has influence over the site.

Absolutely!

Apart from the details that you enter in your profile or other features of the site and indicate should be displayed to other members, no information is shared with other members or other third-parties. 

All members can view pictures.

Normal format, jpeg, png are supported up to 1 MB. Please don’t make them too large.
